You probably know that when you make brownies or cookies they taste a bit different from regular brownies.
In this recipe, I’ve created a new brownie for everyone to try and try out.
Brownie Recipe: Shrimp Tacos and Brownies Author: Liza S. Yee Ingredients 2 cups flour 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 2 cups warm water 1 cup buttermilk 1/3 cup water 2 cups powdered sugar (1/2 tsp) 1 tsp cinnamon, ground 1 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup butter, softened 1/8 tsp salt 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract 2 cups shredded white cheese, for garnish Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and grease them lightly.
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the buttermaket with the softened butter and the cinnamon.
Add the water and mix until the dough forms a ball, about 3 minutes.
Add in the flour mixture and mix on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.
The dough should be slightly sticky.
Place the dough in a greased 9×13 baking dish and flatten the dough into a disc about 1/16 inch thick.
Using a pastry brush, brush about 1 inch of each side of the dough with water and flattish the top with the brush.
Brush the remaining dough with the water.
Place on the prepared baking sheets and bake for about 35 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and cool.
Let cool for about 5 minutes.
Once cool, transfer the dough to a large bowl.
In another bowl, combine the warm water and buttermank and whisk until smooth.
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Serve with sour cream or guacamole. 3.5.3208
