A special ‘Chili’ sauce for Christmas

For Christmas, we had our first taste of the new season.

The ingredients were there, but the recipe was not.

Instead, the sauce was simply the classic Christmas dish, with the added addition of a little chili.

A sauce with a touch of the spice and a hint of sweetness from the chili sauce is a wonderful addition to a Christmas dish.

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make a delicious sauce, plus a few tips and tricks on how to make the perfect chili.

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 medium onion, finely diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro 1 cup tomato paste 1-2 tablespoons honey 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup white wine 1 1/2 tablespoons water 1 bay leaf Directions: Heat a medium pot of salted water over medium heat.

Add in the onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic, cilantro, tomato paste, honey, salt and white wine.

Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for about 30 minutes, until the water has reduced.

Remove the bay leaf.

Set aside.

Combine all the ingredients and allow to cool.

Add back into the pot with the onion.

Stir well and season with salt and pepper.

Boil for about 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans and homemade jam.

This dish is perfect for Christmas parties, parties with kids, gatherings with friends and more.

The flavours are reminiscent of a chili that is just right for a Christmas feast.
